A FLOOD-hit new retail mill is set to re-open tomorrow after a round-the-clock clean-up operation by staff, their family and friends.
An estimated 100,000 gallons of water poured into the ground floor of Atherton’s Ena Mill early on Monday morning. A burst pipe on an upper floor was to blame. The venue, which only opened in the autumn, has been cleaned up three days sooner than forecast but the cost of the mess could run to six figures. There will be a flood damage sale at the weekend. The owners say they have been overwhelmed by messages of support and offers of help.
