A COMMUNITY Fashion show held at Leigh Sports Village Stadium was a huge success.

Organised by Leigh Centurions RLFC and Asda Leigh, local businesses joined the Centurions staff to showcase their fashion on the catwalk, which was provided by Asda Leigh, along with the lighting. Asda colleagues were also on hand to demonstrate this winter’s must-have George clothing ranges.

The event also raised money for Wigan and Leigh Disability partnership.

Mark Hill, Asda Leigh store manager, said: “We’re delighted by the success of the Fashion show and found it a pleasure to support not just the Centurions but the many local businesses who took part in the event.

“My thanks go to the Asda colleagues and Centurions team who helped create such a great community event.”

And David Bradshaw of Leigh Centurions added: “It was a wonderful night with local talented vocalists also providing extra entertainment for the evening.

“Proceeds from the night go to the Wigan and Leigh Disability partnership.”
