A SURVIVOR tag team challenge - made famous by the WWE - is set to top the bill at the next Grand Pro Wrestling event in Wigan.
Hindley’s heavyweight champion Martin Kirby, who recently faced former WWE superstar Dave ‘Fit’ Finlay, is set to captain one of the teams at the Rose Club on May 4.
Leigh’s Joey Hayes will join him in a battle against former two time champion Dirk Feelgood who will have Wigan’s Danny Hope in his corner.
In another bout, tag team champion Chris Echo will be hoping for revenge against the Blackpool Blonds following an abrupt end to a recent championship match.
After no winner was declared due to injury, challengers the Blackpool Blonds stole the trophy - leaving fans stunned. The dispute will be settled in the ring on May 4.
El Ligero will also be in action as he takes on Scotland’s Andy Wild in a highly anticipated bout.
Wild, who has recently returned from a successful tour of the USA, will earn a spot on the roster if he can defeat the Mexican Sensation.
Also in action on the night will be ‘Dangerous’ Damon Leigh, Zack Diamond, Ste “Bin” Mann and Voodoo.
Doors at the Rose Club open at 7pm on May 4, with the show due to start at 7.30pm.
