Gary Neil Jenkinson (36): Bond Street, Leigh - Stole electrical wiring after entering as a trespasser at a property in Bedford Street, committing an offence while a community order was in place: Jailed for 12 weeks because of an appalling record of offending, pay £490 compensation.

Thomas King (23): Shadwell Grove, Leigh - Failed to comply with the requirements of a community order given for harassment of Jack Bartholomew: Fined £40, new 12-month community order made with rehabilitation activity requirement.

Anthony Robinson and Lorna Robinson: Endsleigh Gardens, Leigh - Being the parent of a child at Lowton CE High School, failed to ensure they attended on a regular basis: Fined £440, pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £44, pay costs of £100.

Peter Hunt (56): Cecil Street, Leigh - Drink driving on Platt Fold Street, Leigh, with 100 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, with the legal limit being 35 microgrammes: 12-month community order with rehabilitation requirement, fined £120, pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £85, pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service, disqualified from driving for 26 months.

Patrick Anthony Caldwell (35): Richmond Drive, Leigh - Entered as a trespasser at a building in Westleigh Lane with intent to steal, possession of cannabis and cannabis resin, possession of amphetamine: 12-month community order with unpaid work requirement for 250 hours, pay £50 compensation, pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £85, pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

Gary Marsh (42): Bag Lane, Atherton - Stole nine bottles of detergent to the value of £40 belonging to Wilkinsons, stole toiletries to the value of £22 belonging to Wilkinsons, committing a further offence while a suspended sentence order was in operation given for shoplifting meat from Tesco: Jailed for four weeks, offence so serious because of an appalling record of dishonesty offences, pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £115.

Ryan Hopkins (22): Essex Place, Tyldesley - Without reasonable excuse, sent a Facebook message to a third party, which they were prohibited from doing so by a non-molestation order: Discharged conditionally for six months.

Jon Thomas Buckley-Mellor (42): Church Street, Leigh - Assaulted a police officer in the execution of his duty: Community order with eight-week curfew with electronic monitoring, pay £100 compensation, pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £85, pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

Simon Lee Hughes (27): No fixed address - Failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following a release from custody, at Leigh entered as a trespasser at House of Hair, stole electrical goods and other items worth a total of £1,917, stole a coat worth £70 belonging to JD Sports: Jailed for 134 days as a prolific offender, pay £150 compensation.

Louis Trelfa (18): Darlington Street, Tyldesley - Possession of cocaine, failed without reasonable cause to surrender to custody: Fined £200, pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £30, pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

Kazimierz Kizym (41): Darwen Drive, Platt Bridge - Drink driving on Warrington Road, Platt Bridge, with 90 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, with the legal limit being 35 microgrammes, drove without insurance or without a licence: 12-month community order with 100 hours of unpaid work requirement, pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service, disqualified from driving for 24 months, fined £400.
