Mark Holmes (21): Lulworth Drive, Hindley. Failed to attend his unpaid work placement and failed to provide the required evidence to reasonably excuse his absences, used threatening or abusive behaviour within hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress, assaulted Ricia Derricott by beating and the offence was racially aggravated: Jailed for six weeks suspended for 12 months, carry out unpaid work for 150 hours over the next 12 months.

Dylan Monks (19): Castle Hill Road, Hindley. Driving on East Lancs Road when the proportion of controlled drugs D-9-Tetrahydro Cannabinol and Benzoylecgonine in his blood: Fined £220, pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £30, pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85, disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving license for 14 months.

Kyle Joseph Arthur Lovell (35): Kipling Grove, Leigh. Driving on Twist Lane with 67 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, with the legal limit being 35 microgrammes and without a policy of insurance: Fined £140, pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £30, pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85, disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving license for 20 months.

Jamie Poole (25): Chapel Street, Leigh. Used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards Melih Akkurt: Pay surcharge to fund victim services of £20, discharged conditionally for 12 months.

Kirsty Sanderson (26): Albion Close, Atherton. Damaged a vehicle belonging to Lewis Openshaw to the value of £800: pay compensation of £300, pay surcharge to fund victim services of £20.

Michael Andrew Unsworth (44): Maple Crescent, Leigh - Non-payment of £165 fine, failed to comply with requirements of a community order given for criminal damage: Jailed for six weeks.

Daniel Robert Tudor-Yates (27): Boughey Street, Leigh - Drove above the speed limit in a 30mph zone: Fined £100, £85 costs, driving licence endorsed with three points.

Ryan Thomas Edward Renshaw (20): Damaged a Mini Cooper window belonging to Nicola Renshaw: Discharged conditionally for 18 months, pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £20, pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85.
