A LEIGH Mobility employee has proved hard work and persistence really does pay off!
Amy Coleman joined Local Mobility in June 2010 as an apprentice sales assistant, worked hard to prove her worth and was promoted to trainee assistant manager last month.
But her success didn’t end there, when the company won a dealer incentive promotion from top end mobility scooter manufacturer Landlex in the form of an all expense paid trip to New York, owners Sarah and Paul Waterworth awarded the prize to Amy in appreciation.
Director Mr Waterworth said: “Amy has been a great asset, it proves that there is talent in the youth of today and that young people just need a chance to prove themselves. ”
And Amy added: “An apprenticeship is a great way to get into work and a great way for businesses to recruit workers.”
