THESE members of staff are not acting when they say they love their jobs.

The Old Courts Theatre and Events has been running for six months in the Old Courts building in Wigan,

It offers interactional entertainment and shows, which so far have included a Hallowe’en tour and a zombie survival expedition, plus education and inclusion opportunities through the youth and community theatre.

Suzanne Horlock and Mike Rees are the two directors.

Suzanne, 35, of Lowton, said: “I run the admin side of the business, teach music and deal with ticket sales. We have a really friendly and relaxed atmosphere.”

Sarah Harris, 18, of Orrell, is on voluntary work placement, while studying accountancy at Wigan and Leigh College. She said: “I help out with admin, accountancy and do research for future programmes.

“I like the people I work with and it is great fun.”

Karl Schofield, 24, of Springfield, creative assistant, said: “I deal with social media and create background stories for our events.”
