ONE of Wigan’s top conference venues is branching out into the business of marriage.

For on July 5 Room Four in Golborne is hosting a wedding fayre.

This ladies-only night will begin at 7pm with a Bucks Fizz reception and an opportunity to see the variety of stands offering everything a bride needs for her big day including flowers, jewellery, cars and wedding cakes. There will also be make-overs and hand massages available.

At 7.45pm, models will take to the catwalk to showcase some of the beautiful gowns available from new bridal house: Charlotte’s Bridal Wear and some of the elegant and sexy lingerie from Kiku Boutique. This will be followed by a chance for brides and their hens to learn a few sensual moves with a burlesque master class taster session.

Wendy Gray, Owner of Room Four said: “Room Four has been operating as a successful conference and meeting venue for the last 10 years.

“Over the last few months, I have been branching out into more social events. It is an attractive venue that lends itself well to weddings and I am looking forward to helping newly weds experience the happiest days of their lives.

“Lots of venues have wedding fayres, but I wanted to offer something a bit different. Our Brides, Basques and Burlesque night is an opportunity to not only view our venue and find must have items for a wedding, but also to have a bit of fun as well.”

Admission is £5 including bucks fizz. All proceeds will go to Wigan and Leigh Hospice.

Room Four boasts gourmet menus that can be tailored to any pallet and has an on-site wedding co-ordinator to work with the bride and groom.
