WITH suitcases packed and a beach ball at the ready, Michelle Kirby is all set for a holiday of a lifetime after scooping the top prize in a competition run by regional family baker Roberts Bakery.
Michelle, who lives in Astley, won a Neilson beach club holiday worth £3,500 after finding a “golden ticket” in a Roberts’ loaf which she bought at Asda supermarket in Leigh.
She said: “We didn’t see the ticket straight away as it had fallen out on the floor and was nearly thrown away!
“My daughter Jessica was insistent that she had seen the ticket though so we all hunted around for it.
“We couldn’t believe it when we found it and then learned that we had won this amazing holiday. We haven’t had a proper holiday this year so it will be a really fantastic break for us.“
Michelle chose the Greek island of Lemnos for the action packed, fully inclusive holiday.
“She will jet off with her nine year old daughter Jessica and her mum Ellen.
Michelle added: “Jessica is so excited and can’t wait to do all the water sports, like sailing and waterskiing, which are included with the holiday.”
