THE Lancashire Hotpots sang their hearts out to open a charity shop in Leigh.
The popular folk band were invited to officially open the third Shopmobility store, in Bradshawgate, as patrons of the charity,
The shop will help raise much needed funds for the organisation which provides wheelchairs and scooters for disabled people in the borough.
Band member Dickie Ticker said: “Shopmobility scooters are an essential lifeline for lots of people with mobility difficulties so we were honoured when Wigan and Leigh Shopmobility asked us to become official patrons. It was great to open the shop.”
