IT’S the last chance saloon for a Leigh man at a wrestling spectacular next month.

During an explosive night of action at the last wrestling show of 2012 at the Rose Club in Hindley, Joey Hayes will be going all out to end the year with a top title.

The main bout at the show on Friday, December 7, is the highly anticipated finale to the rivalry between Heavyweight Champion Martin Kirby of Hindley and Joey Hayes, of Leigh.

Hayes and Kirby have fought it out over the last few months keeping fans on the edge of their seats but a winner has never been decided.

Hayes who had a tryout with WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) in October will be looking to end 2012 as champion while Kirby aims to end his record breaking year on a high.

GPW management have decided to give Hayes one more shot at the title but he won’t be the only contender this time, the 400lb Cyanide has been added to the match making it a three way bout which won’t end until a winner is determined.

Joey said: “My focus is on winning the title, I’ve put my career aspirations on hold for now while I put all my efforts into making sure I defeat two of my toughest opponents, Kirby and Cyanide and win the Heavyweight title for the first time in my career”.

But Martin countered: “Joey is one of my best friends and helped me when I started in wrestling but I’ll be putting that to the back of my mind on December 7, whether I have to go through Hayes or Cyanide doesn’t matter, I will leave with the title.”

Fans favourite ‘Dangerous’ Damon Leigh will also be in action as he takes on the despised Bubblegum in a high risk Street Fight.

Wigan’s Danny Hope will make a first defence of his newly won British title against Zack Diamond while the hugely popular El Ligero will take on rival Oscuro in a match where the loser must unmask forever.

Doors open at 7pm, with the show starting at 7.30pm. Tickets are £8 per person or £27 for a family of four (two adults and two children) available by calling 07703 312146. Large office parties catered for, great discounts available for large groups.
