AN ACCLAIMED keyboard duo will be the latest visitors to Leigh Music Society this weekend.
Jonathan and Tom Scott, who play piano, organ and harmonium, will perform in the Derby Room at the Turnpike Centre on Sunday afternoon.
The Manchester-born brothers have performed with some of the country’s top orchestras, including the Halle, the BBC Philharmonic and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, released several CDs on their own label, and toured with English National Ballet. Jonathan and Tom both originally studied at Chetham’s School of Music and the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM), and are particularly celebrated for their performances of the music of George Gershwin and the French Impressionist composers such as Debussy and Ravel.
The Scott Brothers Duo will play in Leigh on November 4, beginning at 2.15pm. Tickets on the door are £8 for adults and £3 for children and students.
